Important Information About Your Journey

Tour Price
Tour price of $2,765.00 US as quoted, as of September 22, 2009,is guaranteed for upcoming May 14-24, 2010 Spiral Journeys. Tour includes all accommodations based on double occupancy; pick-up and return to Shannon Airport, all internal land travel by coach transportation, meals (breakfast, boxed lunch and 5 dinners), sightseeing, entrance fees when needed; the full attention and services of Spiral Journeys Tour Director; luggage handling (one bag per person). Gratuities are at the discretion of each traveler as outlined in tour description.
What's Not Included
Roundtrip Airfare to Shannon Airport, Ireland; air travel transfer charges, cost of passports and visas; personal expenses; additional room service; laundry; airport, port and departure taxes and fees as listed on invoices for items purchased by you or travel insurance protection.
(Note Purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself and your investment in the event you have to cancel or interrupt your vacation is strongly recommended. As a licensed vendor Spiral Journeys offers many plans through Travel Guard. Please review all available options on www.spiraljourneys.com
Registration and Payment
All payments are accepted in US Dollars only. With your completed registration (available online at www.spiraljourneys.com) we require a deposit of $1400.00 US dollars per person. Payment may be made by bank draft, personal check or credit card through www.spiraljourneys.com secure PayPal website. Your registration name and information must concur with your current Passport or Visa
Full Balance of Tour Cost
***Due by February 1, 2010
Pre-Departure
Approximately within a week of your reservation and deposit a full packet of materials, including a detailed itinerary and an optional Travel Protection enrollment form will be mailed to you. Final documents will be forwarded to your land address approximately 3 weeks prior to your departure.
Cancellation and Refund
We want to be as fair as possible to our travelers while meeting our obligation to both Spiral Journeys and to our established Irish land journey partnerships. Our cancellation policy dates, as outlined below, are non-negotiable.
If, by any chance you need to cancel;
* By January 1, 2010 you will receive a refund of your $1400 US dollar deposit, minus $100 US dollars for administrative costs.
* By March 1, 2010 you will receive a refund of 50% of the total tour cost
* By April 1, 2010 you will receive a refund of 25% of the total tour cost
* There will be no refunds after April 2, 2010
Travel Documents
A current valid passport is required for all those entering The Republic of Ireland. If you are not a US citizen please contact your local consulate or embassy regarding any possible visa requirements.
Health and Medical Issues
Spiral Journeys welcomes all travelers with the understanding that they be in good health and capable of full participation on the journey. Our journeys involve a reasonable amount of walking- sometimes uphill or on uneven cobblestones or country lanes. While we are delighted to be there for you at all times, it is important that you can manage getting on and off the coach by yourself. In the event you require assistance we recommend you be accompanied by a companion or alert us to this need prior to departure.
Smoking
As of 2004 smoking is banned in all public places in The Republic of Ireland. Spiral Journeys has a No Smoking policy on all tour coach and within our private land accommodations. We arrange for rest stops along the way for both toilet and smoking.

Air Transport
Spiral Journeys is a land tour company only and does not include air travel. We suggest you view our website where we have posted suggestions for best possible flight rates. Upon your arrival at Shannon Airport the morning of May 15, 2010 you will be greeted and assisted by Spiral Journeys Director, Ann Quinlan along with our coach driver. Spiral Journeys coach will return you to Shannon Airport in comfort time for your departure on May 24, 2010. In the event you are arriving at a location, other than Shannon Airport, please let us know well ahead and we will provide you with optional transport (at your own expense) Our destination Ashleypark House in Tipperary is about a one hour drive to or from Shannon
Changes
While on the land Spiral Journeys makes every effort to operate and complete our itinerary, as planned, we reserve the right to make any changes necessary in order that we maintain continuity, safety and enjoyment for our travelers.
